5 New Generative AI Solution Labs

New generative AI solution labs in AWS Cloud QuestAWS Cloud Quest has added five solution assignments to build practical generative AI skills within Machine Learning, Serverless Developer, Solutions Architect and Security roles. Learn to generate images from text descriptions, create chatbots powered by large language models, use generative AI to build cloud infrastructure, and monitor compute resources using AI generated code.

These hands-on assignments will teach you how to leverage services like Amazon CodeWhisperer, Amazon Lex V2, and Amazon SageMaker for applied generative AI and automation. With these additions, Cloud Quest now has 8 generative AI focused solution labs available for customers with an AWS Skill Builder subscription.

Who should use it
The goal of this training is to equip the next generation of cloud builders with generative AI skills that are applicable across roles and AWS services. As generative AI transforms day-to-day tasks like building, deploying, and operating AWS offerings, developing proficiency will boost productivity. Whether it's a security expert leveraging generative AI to assess and mitigate risks or a cloud developer utilizing CodeWhisperer to build an application, these new solution building assignments will guide learners as they develop these skills.

Solutions Overview
Use Generative AI to Build an Image Recognition System. This solution building assignment is located in the Serverless Developer role and you must build an AI powered image recognition system to help the city’s security department. You will use Amazon CodeWhisperer to generate Python code to jumpstart development with AWS CDK.

Chatbots with a Large Language Model. This solution building assignment is located in the Machine Learning role and you will help the city’s new AI company quickly create an AI chatbot using Amazon Lex V2 and Amazon SageMaker.

Text to Image Creation Using Generative AI. This solution building assignment is located in the Machine Learning role where you must aid the city’s AI startup to quicken approval processes by generating visual summaries of complex information. You gain experience fine-tuning LLMs and learn how to integrate a SageMaker endpoint into an application.

Cloud Infrastructure with Generative AI. This solution building assignment is located in the Solutions Architect role and you will assist the city’s IT department with deploying cloud infrastructure with minimal coding effort. You will use Amazon CodeWhisperer to aid you in creating AWS resources within AWS CDK to automate and speed up infrastructure deployment.

Intelligent EC2 Monitoring. This solution building assignment is located in the Security role and you will help the city’s IT department prevent unauthorized access to compute resources during their hackathon. You will use Amazon CodeWhisperer to create IAM permissions and roles and use CodeWhisperer suggestions to create comments and code signatures.
